Home Barista Workshop

Immerse yourself in the world of artisan coffee and learn how to make informed, responsible choices. This step-by-step workshop will help you understand the origin and quality of your coffee, where to buy it, what to ask for and what criteria to choose. You'll also experiment with simple home preparation methods (espresso machine, percolator, piston, V60, etc.).

 

You'll discover the essential parameters that influence taste - grind, temperature, brewing time - and learn how to adjust them to get the cup that's just right for you. Finally, leave with concrete advice on how to create your own coffee set-up and practical tips on how to consume coffee more responsibly on a daily basis.

Can I offer a coffee workshop as a gift?
Yes, it is possible to offer a coffee workshop with a Torrefactory gift card. The person can then choose a theme and a date of their choice.
Is there a minimum entry level?
Unless explicitly mentioned in the event description, Torrefactory's coffee workshops are open to everyone, from beginners to the more experienced. No prior knowledge of coffee is necessary.
Do I need to bring any equipment?
Torrefactory will provide you with all the materials you need to take part in the workshops.
Can I organize a private workshop?
We'd be delighted to welcome your group for a personalized coffee workshop. Please send your request to hello@torrefactory.coffee.
Can I cancel or postpone if I can't make it?
Tickets are not exchangeable or refundable, except upon validation by the team. Contact us in case of unforeseen circumstances.
