What is B Corp?

B Corp certification is awarded to companies that succeed in balancing their financial success with their commitment to social and environmental responsibility. It is based on five main pillars, assessing a company's overall impact. Each of these pillars is scrutinized to ensure that the company meets the highest standards of corporate responsibility and sustainability. In this way, B Corp certification is a tangible recognition of a company's commitment to ethical and sustainable business practices.

The Torrefactory team is proud to announce that its efforts have been rewarded with a score of 103.9 points. But what does this score mean? B Corp's high standards require a minimum score of 80 points to be a certified company. Our score, based on the pillars detailed below, reflects our strong commitment to various social and environmental issues. We are proud of this score, and will be doing everything in our power to achieve an even higher score when we recertify in 2027.
