About this café

This coffee draws its strength from the Simbi and Kinazi regions, among the most renowned areas in Rwanda. Each Simbi coffee cherry is handpicked at peak ripeness before undergoing the “washed” process. The beans are then sun-dried on raised African drying beds, allowing for aromatic development that is recognized by a high SCA cupping score of 85+. This commitment to quality and regenerative farming techniques has earned Simbi coffee several awards at the Cup of Excellence (2013, 2015, 2018) and a remarkable 4th place finish at Best of Rwanda 2025.
